IT Support during Work From Home Period

 

Please read this guide to understand how to access system & information from home.

 

 

  1. How can I request IT support for technical issue?
  • Download and Install AnyDesk https://www.anydesk.com/download.
  • Log a support ticket at http://iservice.pestech.com.my à IT Care à Submit a ticket.
  • Provide the 9 digit AnyDesk code and write briefly what is not working in the support ticket.
  • Make sure AnyDesk is running and we will remote to your computer for checking.
  1. How can I connect to the File Server and access its content?
  • For those department already in OneDrive, we recommend you to contact your superior to grant you on OneDrive access permission.
  • Otherwise, we will provide the VPN access which allow your computer to connect with office File Server.
    Kindly raise a ticket under type of “VPN / Firewall”.
  • If above procedure are too technical, working by using email is the simple. However the file attachment is limited to 20mb per email.
  • Issue a support ticket to us if above doesn’t help or applicable.

 

  1. What I need to beware when working at home?
  • Due to the global situation, hacker may use this opportunity to spam, scam, phishing and attacking all kind of computer information system.
  • Do not click or response to any unknown email. Be calm and ask for second opinion before take action. Clarify with the authority or IT personnel.
  • Forward the suspicious email or info piece to spamcheck@pestech.com.my
