Please 
DELETE and do not click the link contains in the recent spam/phishing mail titled “Email Account Quota”.

 

If you have accidentally clicked the link please proceed to renew/reset email account password by login to https://outlook.office.com/mail/ or contact your IT Personal for advice.

Some guidelines to protect your-self from expose to email risks.

 

·         To identify whether an e-mail is genuine from our IT Team, it must consist from one of the sender as following

o    itcare@pestech.com.my

o    riki.lee@pestech-international.com

o    jauhariarif@pestech-energy.com

o    hazri@pestech.com.my

o    zahidan@pestech-international.com

 

 

·         Our system will NEVER e-mail you to request validate account, update password, increase quota, release junk mail and any kind of similar. You should always login to https://outlook.office.com/mail/ to verify the situation should you have doubt or consult with IT personnel.

 

·         Always logon to your email account at https://outlook.office.com/mail/. Bookmark this in your computer and phone. Do not sign-in via any links.

 

·         The only place to key in your password is at 
https://outlook.office.com/mail/. No other systems is authorized to ask you to provide password. Not from IT, Microsoft or anyone out there. No.

 

·         Do not response, reply, open attachment or click any link provide by unknown sender. They can disguise themselves as airline, hotel, courier service, bank, telephone company and many more. If you never sign-up your PESTECH email for those service, you can tell it is fake.

 

·         You can verify a sender identity by using the REPLY function. For example you received an email from system admin and asking you to verify password. Once you click REPLY function in Outlook/Phone, the sender email address will be revealed. If it is difference than what it shown earlier, it is a fake/spoof/scam and you should abort and delete the email immediately. Remember not to click reply link in the email body.

 

·         Our email system is self-service and administer by IT personnel. Only follow the instruction or request provide by IT personnel. All system generate message can be easily spoof nowadays. Refer to IT personnel if you’re not sure and do not take any risk.

 

·         Do not sign-up non-business related service or newsletter. If you have to, please use a difference password than your email.

 

·         Use private or incognito mode when you’re accessing email from public computer. Again, do not save password or use remember me function for those.
